How to get support with your application
Our Teacher Training Adviser (TTA) service is a free service that provides you with tailored, one-to-one support from an experienced teacher throughout the application process.
Veronika applied for teacher training last year. Here she talks about her experience of working with a Teacher Training Adviser and how it helped bring her closer to her dream of becoming a languages teacher.
“My experience with my TTA — Richard Williams — was fantastic. I was accepted for School Direct Teacher Training at the Priory Community School in Weston Super Mare after receiving two out of two offers. Afterwards I managed to pass both skills tests first time. My success is down to Mr Williams’ tremendous help and advice. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to prepare properly and cover all the requirements.
His replies were always extremely detailed and very prompt — mostly in just a few hours after sending my emails. Even after I had been accepted, Mr Williams was kind enough to offer his opinion when I was concerned about finances. In addition, Mr Williams said that he would check on me before I start the course to make sure it’s all coming together. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to receive such amazing support from Mr Williams and the whole Get Into Teaching team. I cannot thank you all enough for bringing me closer to my dream of becoming a languages teacher.”
